Diversity Spotlight Thursday is a Weekly Meme Hosted by Aimal @ Bookshelves and Paperbacks . Every Week, you come up with one book in each of three different categories: A diverse book you have read and enjoyed, A diverse book on your TBR, and one that has not yet been released.

Click here for the announcement post.

Okay, this is my first DST and I am a little worried about it, because I am not that into Diversity Books, not because I don’t like them or don’t care about them, but because I am not being able to go deep into them. Besides, let’s be real there is A LOT that can be considered DIVERSITY…

Let’s start:

A DIVERSITY BOOK YOU HAVE READ AND ENJOYED

9788415594482

Will Grayson meets Will Grayson. One cold night, in a most unlikely corner of Chicago, two strangers are about to cross paths. From that moment on, their world will collide and lives intertwine.

Will Grayson is not the reason I choose this book, but Will Grayson and Tinny Cooper are.

A DIVERSITY BOOK ON YOUR TBR

Born a generation apart and with very different ideas about love and family, Mariam and Laila are two women brought jarringly together by war, by loss and by fate. As they endure the ever escalating dangers around them—in their home as well as in the streets of Kabul—they come to form a bond that makes them both sisters and mother-daughter to each other, and that will ultimately alter the course not just of their own lives but of the next generation.

A DIVERSITY BOOK THAT HAS NOT YET BEEN RELEASED.

As right now, September 8, 2016 I have not found enough information about Diversity Books to be released. I guess that’s part of the reason I decided I wanted to participate in this meme, we need diversity.

Hopefully, next week, I’ll find something.
